Raptorthon Date: May 4, 2025
On Sunday, May 4, The Brown Thrashers will be doing our 16th annual Raptorthon for the Hawk Migration Association (HMA)! This year, we will be celebrating birds and spring migration at the Herrick’s Cove Wildlife Festival in VT. https://amasvt.org/herricks-cove-wildlife-festival
HMA will have a table at the event where we’ll be connecting with the public and other conservation organizations, but the Brown Thrashers will also be birding! Early May is an ideal time for spring migrants and our location right along the banks of the Connecticut River will be perfect for warblers, ducks and all types of migrants…we’ll be counting them all!
